How to translate documents for visa application

One of the processes to obtain or renew a visa in Ecuador  is by submitting personal documents such as a birth certificate, bank statement, university degree, marriage certificate, marriage licenses, police record, among others.

Now, if your documents are not in Spanish, you will not be able to obtain your visa unless you have them translated. What you must do is to send them to an authorized translator in Ecuador.

The translated documents, together with the certification provided by the authorized translator/company, will be used to renew or obtain your visa at any of the visa offices, or the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Ecuador.
